The laser energy that we use causes the tattoo pigment to oxidise causing complete loss of carbon (black) based pigment. The pigment molecules are shattered into smaller particles - small enough for the body to metabolise. White blood cells then absorb the finest of these particles and remove them through the body’s lymphatic system. The better hydrated you and the healthier your immune system is will determine how effective this treatment is for you.
-
If you require emergency removal please call us within 36 hours of the procedure. A saline will be microneedles into the area to extract the ink. Otherwise you must wait until the skin is fully healed before attempting Laser. New tattoos do not respond well so leaving it longer will help obtain a better result.

Laser Toning is a light based treatment that uses an open wavelength to control the amount of pigment being oxidised. Oxidisation is the chemical reaction of Iron Oxide turning grey. Im small quantities the red and grey combined will create a soft brown colour.

We simply have NEVER had great results. Iv treated hundreds of clients, performed long drawn out case studies and even worked pro-bono to see how effective other removal solutions can be and Im just not impressed. …sorry!
They require too many sessions and can leave the skin tissue white and raised.
I would only suggest seeking this service once the laser has done the heavy lifting and if you are left with an undesirable residue.

Pain during the treatment is very minor if at all. Laser tattoo removal is slightly more painful for heavily inked tattoos than for those with faded pigment. Plus, the procedure is over within a few minutes, sometimes seconds.
-
There are minimal side effects with tattoo removal however, all procedures come with a small amount of risk. We like to compare the damage similar to a mild sunburn.
Light-skinned clients carry a much lower risk of complications and a higher success rate. Some of the risks of laser tattoo removal include hypo-pigmentation, hyper-pigmentation, infection, and in very rare circumstances, scarring.

In most cases NO. This is because most red inks contain Iron Oxide which turns black under the laser. Treating it with a lower energy may work without triggering the black however the results are much slower resulting in a slow drawn-out process. I would suggest continuing with laser only in extreme cases where your tattoo is effecting your quality of life.

Yes absolutely. Brow and fade black inks respond very well. Heavy applied bluish inks are very difficult and take 6-10 sessions.
