Game-Changing Moments & Industry Insights from APMAC 2014!

Just Back from APMAC 2014 – What an Experience!

I’ve just returned from APMAC 2014, and wow—what an unforgettable event! I had the absolute pleasure of attending with my good friend and queen of brows, Sibina, a former speaker from the year before. Together, we soaked up knowledge, captured stylish memories, and connected with some of the biggest names in the industry!

Live Demonstrations & Game-Changing Techniques

From Monica Ivani’s flawless nano strokes to Teryn Darling’s eyeliner mastery (yes, I FINALLY got to meet her after chasing her across the globe!), the live demos were next level. Seeing Vicky Martin’s powerful areola tattooing reinforced how life-changing this industry can be.

Business, AI & Smarter Workflows

The stage presentations were packed with insights—Leann La’s session on AI blew my mind, proving just how much technology can enhance our workflow. And let’s not forget the golden rule: work smarter, not harder! The business strategies I picked up will help shape OHMYBROW for years to come.

Networking & Career-Changing Collabs

Beyond the sessions, the magic happened in between! A deep dive into laser removal with Alex Mechenici helped refine my course, validating my findings on pigment physics. Meeting Haylee McGowan led to an exciting opportunity—she’s coming to my Adelaide studio to share her award-winning nano technique!

Masquerade Party & Industry Celebrations

To top it all off, the Masquerade Cocktail Party was a night to remember—dancing, networking, and celebrating this incredible industry with some of the best in the business.

How APMAC 2014 Elevated OHMYBROW

This experience solidified my passion, refined my techniques, and opened doors to collaborations I never expected. The takeaways? Keep learning, stay innovative, and surround yourself with industry leaders who push you to grow.
