LASER THEORY
LASER & IPL SAFETY COURSE
This course provides the essential knowledge and skills required to apply safe practice protocols when using Lasers and IPL technologies. It complies with Australian and New Zealand safety standards (AS/NZS IEC 60825) for clinical dermal applications, ensuring safe and effective operation of laser equipment. As mandated by Australian regulations, this course is a prerequisite for face-to-face training, where you will gain hands-on experience with laser devices.
PMU & TATTOO REMOVAL COURSE
Specifically designed for Laser Technicians, this course focuses on the removal, lightening, and colour correction of Permanent Makeup (PMU). It covers the critical differences between body art tattoo removal and cosmetic tattoo removal, equipping you with practical skills to address challenges such as sunset brows, paradoxical darkening, carbon resistance, pigment plateau, and pigment regression. You'll also learn advanced colour control techniques, enabling you to tone, lighten, or colour-correct when full removal isn’t feasible. Developed by Sara Mac, this course is grounded in hundreds of real case studies, offering proven methods for achieving safe and effective results.
Enrollment Criteria: Each participant must complete their own individual enrollment.
Assessment Policy: Participants are permitted up to two (2) attempts to achieve competency.
Assessment Deadline: All assessments must be completed within three (3) months of enrollment confirmation.
Important: Course assessments must be successfully completed prior to attending the laser practical training.
